I’ve been wanting to use this blog to share more ideas from others instead of just myself. So today I’m writing a post about Bob Wells, someone whose website and videos helped me learn about the nomadic lifestyle before I started living it. Although I was already heading in the direction of mobile living and minimalism, Bob Wells answered many of the questions I had when I think about the subject.
At the time of this writing, Bob Wells has over 528k subscribers on YouTube. This is where I originally found out about him and started following his content. I went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out the best way for me to travel, something I had been dreaming about for years. Bob Wells was extremely helpful in teaching me the different types of vehicles and methods for living this out-of-the-ordinary lifestyle.
He isn’t only a YouTuber, but a blogger and book author as well. My favorite thing he did was start a nonprofit called “The Homes on Wheels Alliance”.
Homes On Wheels Alliance, Inc. (HOWA), a charitable 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, strives to help a significant portion of the American population who are being squeezed between the rapidly rising cost of shelter on one hand, and either stagnant wages or too-small of a retirement on the other.
If you are into this type of stuff, I highly suggest checking out all the great content on his blog over at cheaprvliving.com
