Flying Upload Expanding into Microstock!
I've always wondered why microstock and print-on-demand tool providers haven't built out their software to accommodate both microstock and POD. As I've written previously, both are similar in their workflow and are worth doing together.
I've always wondered why microstock and print-on-demand tool providers haven't built out their software to accommodate both microstock and POD. As I've written previously, both are similar in their workflow and are worth doing together.
That will change this Friday (May 26, 2023) when Flying Upload releases the new version of their software. Originally built for multi-marketplace print-on-demand uploading to places like Redbubble and Society6, the new release will allow you to upload to Adobe Stock as well.
This is groundbreaking news for photographers and other artists. Imagine processing and uploading all of your art from one single piece of software instead of jumping between microstock and print-on-demand tools. I have a feeling that other microstock tools like ImStocker and Xpiks will consider this for their future plans.
Although Flying Upload's new microstock feature will only start by supporting Adobe Stock, I'm sure they will introduce more marketplace compatibility soon. Shutterstock being one of the largest will likely be one of their targets.
If you haven't started using third-party tools to increase your microstock and print-on-demand profits, you should consider it. It's wild how much they can increase your productivity. Let me know what you think in the comments below! Check out my Flying Upload review if you want to know more about them.
[Update] It has been released. Check out their new video on how to use it with Adobe Stock.
[Update 2] They now support Shutterstock too!
